DESCRIPTION   The 2004 (M) images were taken July 5th @ H. The life history was described in some detail by McGaha (1952,1954). The larva feeds on white waterlily (Nymphaea sp.), beginning on the upper surface of the leaf and subsequently boring into the petiole, where it pupates when the tunnel is about 2.54 cm deep. John Glaser of Baltimore, MD identified the brownish 2004 images. The 2004 (two different moths) images were taken July 28th @ H. They are a variation from the top 2004 images. e r
