DESCRIPTION   Lecompte WMA, Dor., Co.,June 29th; Fishing Bay WMA, August 20th and October 2nd; 3 mile E. Hurlock, Dor., Co., October 14th; Pocomoke State Forest, Wo. Co., October 7th. A widespread species occurring from Novia Scoita to Manitoba and southward to Florida. An adult was reared from a larva on floating pondweed (Potamogeton natans L.) (Berg, 1950); and another was reared from the leaf of white waterlily (Nymphaea odorata, Aiton), (McGaha, 1954). So few were found that it was thought that the preferred host might be some other plant. e r
