Green Ridge State Park, All. County, May 11th and 15th; Indian Springs WMA, Wash. County, May 23rd and June 23rd; Pocomoke State Forest, Wo. County, May 28th; Taylors Island WMA, Dor. County, June 14th. Occurs across southern Canada and south in the mountains to North Carolina. The larvae feed on Solidago and Aster sp., making a web and eating the leaves and flowers (Munroe, 1976:35).
