A.A., Cecil, Dor., Gar., Har., Kent, Montgomery, P.G., Som., Wic. and Wo. Counties. June 8th, August 5th to October 12th. Occurs mainly in the southern U.S. and thence into the Neotropics. The only recorded food plant is a species of wild coffee, Psychotria nervosa Sweet, reported (as P. undata, a synonym) by Kimball (1965:217). As Psychotria is not present in most of its range, tyralis must have other hosts. The 2007 image was taken from Edgewater, FL 17th of March.
