The 2004 images (same moth) were taken Sept 30th from Hurlock, Dorchester County, MD. The specimen was provided and identified by John Glaser of Baltimore, MD. Caterpillar on blueberry. This is a polymorphic species with forewing color ranging from the normal reddish-brown to clear red, and markings concolorous to conspicuoulsly white.
