The 2005 image was taken from Green Ridge State Forest, Allegany County, August 16th. All., Gar. and Wash. Counties.July 7th to August 25th. W.E. Miller states that "larva feed in buds and shoots of Acer saccharum. A. rubrum and A. saccharinum." The specimen was provided and identified by Dr. John Glaser of Berkeley Springs, WV.
